IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hello 4-H Photography Members/Parents:

We have many important announcements and deadlines to discuss and put down on the calendar so get your pen and calendar ready.
     First, the deadline for MCFA Family and Consumer Science Fair Entry Forms are due in the County Extension Office on Friday, February 11 before 5PM. That is THIS Friday. The cost is $6 per entry along with an exhibitor fee of $10. The entry form can be found at http://www.mcfa.net/forms/fcsentryform.pdf . If you would like me to take your forms and money to the Extension Office, please put them in the Elementary front office BEFORE 2PM on Wednesday (tomorrow). I will take them to the Ext. office on Thursday morning. Please let me know if you left forms. You must have attended 3 meetings and 1 workshop to be eligible for the fair. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me, Teri Byrd or Rebecca Baker. I would like every Photography Club member to enter a photograph in the Arts and Crafts division. Let's show them our talent!
     The Booster Club Steak Dinner is being held Saturday, February 12th. If you signed up to bring something at the last 4-H meeting, please have your item(s) there by 4PM. If you didn't sign up to bring something, please call me or Teri Byrd to find out what you need to bring. All 4-Hers are asked to come and help serve (fill tea, serve food, clean up, etc.). Please wear your Photography Club t-shirt that night. We've been asked by the Booster Club to donate a framed picture for the Silent Auction being held that night. If you feel you have a desirable picture (one that would sell), please let me know ASAP. I will have it developed and framed. Needless to say, time is short.
    PTO is sponsoring the Father Daughter Dance being held Friday, February 18th at 6:30PM. The Photography Club has been asked to provide the picture backdrop and special photograph for the night. This will be an awesome fundraiser for our group and an opportunity to show off our skills. If you can help, please let me or Taylor Landrum know by THIS Friday. We need to meet and start brainstorming! See flyer below...
     The District 9 4-H Photography Contest is quickly approaching. You must register your entry using 4-H CONNECT by March 25, 2011. Pictures must be uploaded to Shutterfly. The contest rules can be found here http://d94-h.tamu.edu/eventsandcontests/district-9-4-h-conference/photography/ . If you have questions, please call me. I'd like to see all our club participate.
